Playa Rincon
A popular gathering point for locals, the cold, crystal-clear stream truly lives up to its name as its chilly waters provide quite a contrast to its warm, tropical surroundings. This picturesque stream has been designated as an ecological corridor where development is prohibited adjacent to the park

Also at this end of the strand are several native food stalls just steps from the ocean where fresh, local seafood is the order of the day.

With native divers spearing fish and lobsters on the reefs located just off the beach, the seafood is as fresh as you can get. This day’s catch included colorful parrot fish, small spotted hinds (a member of the grouper family) and a few langostinos (the spotted cousin of the Caribbean’s spiny lobster).
