Just 1/8th mile east of the center of las Terrenas
and less than ½ block off the oceanside el Portillo road on Avenida
Emilio Prudhomme, Casas del Mar Neptunia is just steps away from the beach
and yet offers an oasis of serenity usually found much further away from
the center of town.
With just eight bungalows amidst lush vegetation,
the property offers a tropical setting with the ambiance of a private hideaway.
In the center of the grounds is a thatched cabana that is not only the setting
for the morning’s breakfast of eggs, ham, cheese, fresh fruits and
breads, but is also a comfortable spot to later sit and enjoy the quiet
hours.
The bungalows are spacious and feature several
different sleeping options of up to four persons. The bungalows also have
large, double-doors that open onto a full-width, front porch containing
a table and several chairs.
Several different decors are offered with all
units fully furnished including fans and a small refrigerator.
Each bungalow has it’s own large, private
bathroom with shower. Linens and towels are provided and daily maid service
is also standard.
Also available are two apartments with
a view of the ocean that easily house up to six persons. Children
are welcome. In addition to being comfortably furnished for longer
stays, the apartments also contain air-conditioned bedrooms (the
A/C is optional), cable television and cooking facilities. Apartment
rentals start at $55usd per night.
Rates are very reasonable for a bungalow
with double occupancy renting from $40usd per night in high season
and $30usd in low season. Breakfast is priced at $5 usd per person
and discounts are offered for longer stays.
Your congenial hostess, Catherine, lives on the
property and is available to see that your vacation needs are met, including
car, motorcycle and 4wd quad rentals, day trips to area attractions, local
watersports activities including diving and deep sea fishing and airport
