Cheerful Colors

Accommodating up to four persons, each room is decorated with a different color scheme. Shown here is a "Mexican" motif with its skillful splash of bright colors producing a cheerful, tropical impression.

Tropical Atrium

Unique to the hotel (and the area) are open air bathrooms. Bright and airy, each room's bath facility in the quadraplex building is located around a central atrium opening in the quad structure's common roof, providing a tropical garden effect, complete with natural vegetation and a burbling fountain. The result is a truly different bathroom facility that skillfully blends form and function and yet affords total privacy.

Dining with a View

The el Bohio restaurant and bar features both an international menu and Dominican criollo specialties. In addition to regular guests, the hotel and restaurant also plays host to larger business groups. The restaurant's covered, open-air terrace faces the ocean and affords a pleasant view of the ocean's constantly changing moods. In season, live entertainment is featured here.

Guests can enjoy casual dining in the shade of the covered portion of the restaurant or dine in the warm glow of the tropical sun or linger over an evening’s libation under the starry night on the restaurant’s open-air patio just off the ocean beach.

Pool and More

The large pool and it's sundeck becomes a focal point for guests to gather around and socialize while basking in the warm tropical sun. A Jacuzzi whirlpool is also available for the guest's enjoyment.

Complimentary beach lounges are provided for lazing by the sea and other amenities include internet facilities, a dive shop, watersports and boutique. And for those tired and sore muscles, enjoy a brisk rubdown in the massage salon or have a refreshing uplift in the beauty salon. Now that's relaxing!

Pets Welcome, too!

Room rates range from $80 to $110 USD, low to high season, double occupancy, with tax and breakfast included. A meal plan is also available and there is a discounted plan for children’s meals. In addition to major credit cards and Traveler's Checks, many of the world's major currencies are accepted. Children and pets are always welcome and the friendly staff of Bahia Las Ballenas will gladly help you arrange local transportation and assist in tour bookings of all the peninsula’s attractions. Other services include airport pickup and delivery.
